My Own Paranormal Experience!

Tuesday before Halloween this year my friend Dustin suggested that we go on a ghost tour in honor of the season. Up for a new experience, my friend Shawn and I agreed to go. The grave yard was close by. All of the graves that were in this place were unmarked in that they didn’t have names on them. They did, however, have head stones and foot stones. Dustin point out all the grave markers and how the ground sunk in between the two stones where the coffins have decomposed. As we were walking around we decided to take some pictures.

Dustin ghost hunts as a hobby so he lead off announcing to any one/ thing listening that we would like to take some pictures and if anyone would like to be in those pictures that they can stand in front of us. As he started taking pictures two white orbs began forming in the frames. At this time I was standing on the right and Dustin was standing on the left.I wasn’t sure I completely believed that they could be spirits (or energy) at first so I asked him to face the opposite direction and take some pictures. He did and there wasn’t anything in the frames. This proved to me that there wasn’t anything on the lens. I started to believe a little more, but I was curious about one more thing. We had faced north and south, now I wanted to face west. Again he started taking pictures talking to the spirits the whole time. In these frames the white orb was back, but only in the bottom right corner, as if had been standing in the same place the whole time we had been taking pictures.

We decided that we were going to leave, said our “thank you’s”, and started to walk away. As we were walking I started to feel something on my left hand! It began to go numb and felt as if someone was holding onto my pinky and ring fingers. I told Dustin what I was feeling and he said that he felt something at his right shoulder. We stopped where we were and had Shawn take a picture of the two of us. The frame revealed a large white orb right over my hand and another one next to Dustin.

Dustin took the camera back and took a picture of me and Shawn and the orb by my hand was still there but the other had gone out of frame. Per haps it was following Dustin.

The way it felt, holding onto my two fingers, it felt like a child holding my hand. I said this to Dustin and asked him to take some more pictures of just me as I asked some questions. I asked if there was a child holding my hand, and said that I used to work with kids a lot, that I still worked around children every day and if it wanted to squeeze my hand it could. As I said this I could feel the grip on my fingers tighten! Dustin took a picture and there was no longer an orb in the frame, but a bright light. Every time we would take any pictures we would turn off any flash lights that we had. The only light used was the flash on the camera, and that was used on all of the pictures.

Immediately after the squeeze I got the feeling back in my hand and it felt as if the energy was gone. I said out loud that I thought it was gone and had Dustin take one more picture and there was nothing out of the ordinary in this frame!

It was such an amazing experience!

It's been a long journey.........we are tired and our fingers are covered in glue.....but tomorrow we go to Scarefest! The largest paranormal and horror convention in the United States, Scarefest is going to be huge this year and we have tons of great merchandise! There are lots of great guests such as Leah Thompson(from Back to the Future, apparently she was in some terrible 80s horror film as well), Elvira, and several of the actors that played Jason Vorhees and Freddy Krueger, plus many more!

I'd like to personally thank Kasey Forehand, who without her support we wouldn't be going to Scarefest this year. She has been an avid supporter of Skull Fly from the beginning and we couldn't have done it without her!

I'd also like to recognize Dana Poleski, who's graphic abilities have made us look as great as we do. I'd also like to thank my mom, who spent countless hours making me zombie finger coozies to adorn my chapsticks, and Melissa Schuppe- whose buttons we are selling look AMAZING!
